Spray the inside of pie iron with cooking spray or coat with oil.
Split 4 biscuits in half, using the layers to peel them apart. Butter one side of each biscuit.
Place one biscuit, butter side down, into the pie iron. Add a slice of cheddar cheese and two sausages, cut in length lengthwise.
Beat eggs with milk or water and season with salt, pepper and onion powder. Pour approximately one egg into each pie iron.
Add a biscuit, butter side up, on top. Then, close the pie iron, keeping it level so the eggs don't leak out.
Place on a cooking grate over the campfire and cook for approximately 10-15 minutes, flipping halfway through cook time.
