Ingredients

  • 1 package cinnamon rolls

Instructions

On a Stick or Roasting Fork

  • Unwrap a cinnamon roll and place the end on the top of a stick, folded over the top slightly. Wrap the rest of the cinnamon roll around the stick. Pinch together the end piece with the previous layer.
  • Hold the stick above the campfire and rotate slowly to cook the cinnamon roll. This method takes some patience!

In a Cast Iron Dutch Oven

  • Place a piece of parchment paper inside of a 8" or 10" dutch oven. Arrange the cinnamon rolls on the bottom and set the lid on top.
  • Cook over the campfire or on top of charcoal, adding some coals (approximately 10-12) to the top of the dutch oven.
  • Cook for 10-15 minutes, until the cinnamon rolls are cooked through.

In an Orange Peel

  • Cut the top of an orange off and set aside. Use a spoon to remove all the orange segments from inside.
  • Place 2 raw cinnamon rolls inside and place the top of the orange back on. Wrap up in aluminum foil.
  • Place in the coals of the campfire for about 10 minutes, or until the cinnamon rolls are cooked through.

In a Pie Iron

  • Spray the inside of the pie iron with cooking spray. Please 2-3 raw cinnamon rolls inside and close the pie iron.
  • Cook over the campfire or place in hot coals for 10-15 minutes, checking after 10 minutes.
