HI There!
Hi, I’m Jenny,
and I believe the best way to vacation is by camping!
Although there are so many different ways to get out there and camp, I think one thing should be common – camping should be comfortable!
Here at Refresh Camping, you’ll find easy, budget friendly ways to make your camping trip as comfy as possible.
I’m a middle school reading teacher and a mom of four girls, which leaves summer the time to have FUN! We love camping, or maybe I should call it glamping, as a way to get away over that vacation time.

Where this all began
As a kid, I grew up camping with my family. In fact, I have no memories of staying at a hotel as a kid and the first time I traveled in an airplane was in college. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with this; I have only fond memories of road trips and camping with my sisters and parents. We didn’t travel very far and didn’t explore much of the natural world outside of the midwest, but even camping within a few hours of our home created amazing experiences and memories.
Fast forward 40 years and I have four young kids of my own. Although I can’t say we are avid campers traveling the entire country right now in this current phase of our life, we love getting outside to camp as a family.

I’ve been posting about some of my camper renovation projects on my other site, Refresh Living, for several years. I recently decided to move all of those posts here and dedicate an entire site to camping! But, if you love updating your home without buying new or spending a lot of money, you should stop by Refresh Living. You’ll find budget friendly DIY projects about furniture refinishing, upcycling, building and gardening.
